Regulatory Framework
At YDPay, we believe licensing and regulatory alignment are the key anchors of the next phase of growth of the virtual assets industry. To this end, we are in constant engagement with the regulatory authorities including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for licensing as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) in Nigeria. This demonstrates our unwavering commitment to operating within a regulated framework that aligns with the standards set by the SEC, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other extant regulators along with the business requirements of our partners.

In addition to our ongoing licensing and registration efforts in Nigeria, we are actively pursuing further licensing opportunities to enhance our global reach and compliance. In furtherance of this objective, we have secured the Money Service Business (MSB) registration in Canada to deepen our service offerings.
Other key licenses on our roadmap include:
● Nigerian PSSP Licence
● South African Crypto Assets Service Provider Licence
These additional licenses will not only broaden our service offerings but also reinforce our dedication to maintaining the highest levels of regulatory compliance and trust in the financial ecosystem. At YDPay, your security and confidence are our top priorities as we continue to innovate in the digital asset space.
