5 Crypto Security Habits You Need Today H1

Use a Password Manager — and Unique Passwords Everywhere H2

One of the most overlooked habits in crypto is securing your login credentials. Reusing the same password across multiple platforms creates a single point of failure: if one site gets hacked, all your accounts are suddenly vulnerable. Instead, use a password manager like Bitwarden, 1Password, or Proton Pass. These tools can generate strong, unique passwords for each account and store them safely behind a master key.
Use tools like 1Password, Bitwarden, or LastPass to generate and store strong, unique passwords.

Turn On Two-Factor Auth H3

Two-factor authentication (2FA) provides a second layer of protection by requiring a one-time code in addition to your password.
We strongly recommend authenticator apps like Authy or Google Authenticator instead of SMS-based codes, which can be intercepted. Set up 2FA for your wallets, exchanges, email, and even messaging apps connected to your crypto activities.

Store Long-Term Assets Offline H4

Not all wallets are created equal. While "hot wallets" (connected to the internet) are convenient, they are also exposed to malware, phishing, and server-side attacks.
For larger balances or long-term holdings, invest in a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano, Trezor, or Keystone. These "cold" wallets stay offline and keep your private keys safe from hackers.
